Recording artists, The Rockin’ Ryes, officially formed in 2018 by brothers Mike and Dave Walsh.  The two have been performing live together for over 20 years in several popular regional bands, most notably Whisky Train and Pete Baker and The Agitators.

The brothers are always busy writing original music and lyrics.  As much as they enjoy playing cover tunes at bars, festivals, and other elite venues, they realized that they needed an outlet to record, release, and promote their original compositions. These original tunes truly represent their combined love of different styles of rock, pop, blues, and folk music. In a nutshell, it’s a really rootsy sound that incorporates their many influences and styles.

The Rockin’ Ryes’ debut record “Welcome To The Roaring ‘20s” was released on CD, download, AND limited vinyl, in December 2021 and is available on all major online outlets (including Amazon, Itunes, Bandcamp, etc.).  The songs are best described as Americana Roots Rock.  The first single “Behind The Mask” produced a lyric video which can be viewed on this site by visiting the Video tab.  More singles are forthcoming, as well as more albums in the future (a Christmas single was released in 2018 as well).
